What is OmaNOpa.com?
Oma and Opa are German or Dutch words for Grandma and Grandpa. Since Opa is of Dutch heritage, when daughter number 1 had little ones we were declared to be Opa and Oma to keep us apart from the other grandparents.
So...to pick a domain name... we thought about opasgems.com (Opa's Gems) - meaning both the little ones and the things I make, but that left Oma out. I wanted to keep the domain name simple and less than 10 characters if possible, so I checked to see if omanopa.com was taken - and behold - a new domain was born.
